PURPOSE: To provide a spool and a winding process to the spool capable of automating the process, preventing scratches from being generated on an elongated element wire, eliminating the waste of the elongated element wire, eliminating remaining products for contaminating a work environment, eliminating large time loss and still using the large part of a present metal spool.
CONSTITUTION: The elongated metal element wire 12 is fully wound for plural times onto this spool 10. The end part of plural windings is a final winding 22, the preceding windings of (n) times, (n) preceding windings 24 hereafter, are present before it and (n) is a numeral greater than or equal to one in this case. The final winding 22 is composed of a start end part 26, a middle part 28 and a terminating end part 20. The middle part 28 is placed under the (n) preceding windings 24 so as to fix the final winding to the rest of the elongated element wire. The start end part 26 and the terminating end part 20 are positioned on the same side as the (n) preceding windings 24.
