Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a spool for the reaper having the flexible reaping string which can prevent the wear and damage of the device and further can reduce production costs concerning the layout of components without disassembling a unit including an energizing spring even when newly replenishing the reaping string. CONSTITUTION: Upper and lower flanges 80 and 82 are provided to be radially extended together with rib devices 84 and 88 to be cooperatively and alternately engaged with a rocking tooth device 86 and a disadvancing tooth device 90 when reciprocatively moving a rocking device 20 from down to up and further to down in order to control the feed-out of reaping string. Besides, an extension part 89a of the hub 89 existent in the low order of the lower flange 82 is provided for facilitating holding by a worker for detaching the spool from an operating position when separating a lower housing member 18 and the lower rocking member 20 from an upper housing member 12 and an upper rocking member.
