Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enlarge a cross-sectional area around a shaft portion of a spool by enlarging cross-sectional areas of a valve hole and the spool without expanding a plate width with respect to a conventional spool valve.SOLUTION: A cross-sectional shape of a valve hole 8 is a slender shape having a long axis X directed to a height direction of a housing 7 and a short axis Y directed to a width direction, and the valve hole has right and left hole side walls 8a, 8a linearly extended in the long axis X direction and in parallel with each other, a first hole end wall 8b connecting one ends of the right and left hole side walls 8a, 8a, and a second hole end wall 8c connecting the other ends of the right and left hole side walls 8a, 8a. A cross-sectional shape of a land portion 11 of a spool is a slender shape having a long axis X directed to the height direction of the housing 7 and a short axis Y directed to the width direction, and has right and left land side walls 25a, 25a linearly extended in the long axis X direction and in parallel with each other, a first land end wall 25b connecting one ends of the right and left land side walls 25a, 25a, and a second land end wall 25c connecting the other ends of the right and left land side walls.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
