Abstract:
A grip sole for a golf shoe has curved grip elements (12 to 15) sliding in curved guides under the main part of the sole, with the centres of curvature towards the rear of the shoe. The grip elements can be fitted with soft spikes or actual spikes and slide between two end settings braced by return springs. The main part of the sole has several curved grips from toe to the instep. Similar curved grips (16, 17) can be fitted under the heel, with the centres of curvature towards the toe.
