Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily replace brake linings by swinging a housing about one pin, and locating the contours of the brake linings outside the swinging range of the housing.
CONSTITUTION: Brake linings 10, 11 are slidably guided to support arms 39, 40 and pins 16, 41 are engaged via holes 18, 43 with arms 17, 40 provided at a housing 2. To open the housing 2 the pin 16 is disengaged from a carrier 13 and the housing 2 is permitted to swing about the pin 41. The pins 16, 41 are disposed within the arms 17, 40 and the support arms 39, 41 and project laterally from the housing 2. That is, the pins 16, 41 during swinging action are shifted to positions such that the housing 2 and the carrier 3 do not interfere with each other.
