PURPOSE: To prevent deformation and failure in a joint part and the part near the same by spot-welding a spectacle frame member consisting of a precipitation hardening metal and spectacle frame member consisting of the metal which is the same as the metal of said member or is different therefrom and specifying the Vickers hardness thereof.

CONSTITUTION: The spectacle frame member A consisting of the precipitation hardening metal and the spectacle frame member B consisting of the metal which is the same as the metal of said member or is different therefrom are spot-welded and the Vickers hardness thereof is specified to ≥200. The spectacle frame member A is made into the spectacle frame member by cold working or other working and the spectacle frame member B is worked from the raw material which is the same as the raw material of said member or the metal different therefrom by another or customary method. The resultant spectacle frame members A, B are spot-welded. Thermal influence on the weld zone and the part near the same is exerted only at the welded spot and is decreased to a slight level as a whole if the precipitation hardening metal is used and is spot-welded in such a manner. The hardness of the weld zone and the part near the same is thereby increased to HV=200 a above and the deformation and failure in said parts are prevented.
