Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a spot welding equipment for a nut where the setting time of the nut for a work is short, productivity is high and the deviation of the nut is not caused.
CONSTITUTION: This is the spot welding equipment where the work 10 is mounted horizontally on the upper surface of a lower electrode 30, the nuts 20 packed in a rail 90 are transferred onto work 10 via a nut seat 63 provided on the tip of a piston rod 50 to move in the horizontal direction by being driven by an air cylinder 51, set, then, an upper electrode 40 is lowered from above, the work 10 and the nut 20 are held between the upper and lower electrodes 30 and 40, a current is passed, heat is generated on the contact surface between the work 10 and the nut 20 and these are welded together. A projector 64 in which the nut 20 is fitted is provided projectingly on the center of the nut seat 63, a lower slide 70 and an upper slide 80 provided so as to face each other, respectively on the projector and the front end of the air cylinder are combined, the nut 20 coming down from the rail 90 is rotated, its position is changed and the nut 20 is fitted smoothly into the projector 64.
