Abstract:
PURPOSE: To slightly turn a double-disk type electrode for each spot welding with extremely simple mechanism in a spot welding equipment where a pair of electrodes to hold a member to be welded are formed in disk shape.
CONSTITUTION: Locking mechanisms 18, 19 to lock each electrode in a non- turnable manner is provided on head members 12, 13 on which the electrodes are mounted, and cam levers 20, 21 are rotatably fitted to the respective rotary shafts 16, 17 of the electrodes. A spring 22 to energize cam levers in a mutually abutting direction is mounted between these cam levers 20, 21, and one-way clutches 23, 24 which transmit the rotation to the rotary shafts when the cam levers 20, 21 are rotated in the mutually abutting direction while the rotation is not transmitted to the rotary shafts when the cam levers 20, 21 are rotated in the reverse direction are provided between the rotary shafts 16, 17 and between the cam levers 20, 21 respectively.
