Abstract:
To provide a method capable of easily determining the quality of spot welding without cutting a plate set after the spot welding.SOLUTION: Spot welding is carried out for a plurality of metal plates 1 and 2 by holding the stacked metal plates 1 and 2 between a pair of electrodes 11 and 12 and supplying power by a predetermined energization pattern. The predetermined energization pattern includes preliminary energization and real energization for facilitating formation of a melted part 4a in a contact part 3a between the metal plates 1 and 2 after the preliminary energization. Energization resistance of the metal plates 1 and 2 is measured during an energization period, and the quality of the spot welding is determined on the basis of whether the peak P of the measured energization resistance is within a preliminary energization period S1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
