Abstract:
To shorten operation time in a spot welding system for a panel-shaped work-piece and a small work-piece which is configured from a general-purpose robot.SOLUTION: A spot welding system performs spot welding of plural small work-pieces, which are so formed as to be smaller than a panel-shaped first work-piece, to the first work-piece. In the system, a first transport robot and a second transport robot, which grip and transport a work-piece, are so located as to face each other, and two spot welding robots are located at both sides of a line connecting two transport roots respectively. In a state that the first transport robot grips the work-piece and a panel surface of the work-piece is held on the line in a posture substantially orthogonal to the line, the plural spot welding robots perform spot welding between the first work-piece and the small work-piece, and then, deliver the work-piece from the first transport robot to the second transport robot, and perform further spot welding in a similar posture.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
