To prevent a cold shut from being occasionally caused by disturbance of molten metal flow and to eliminate adverse effect on the quality of a tube caused by occurrence of the cold shut when the molten metal is vigorously made to flow out by increasing the pouring quantity of the molten metal per unit time, in a spout for pouring the molten metal into a rotary metallic mold in a centrifugal casting apparatus.
The spout 12 is formed as a U-shaped cross section and curved for pouring the molten metal 5 along the rotating direction of the rotary metallic mold 2. Then, the bending in the upper part of the side wall at the outer side in the radius direction in the bending portion of this spout 12 has such a structure that the bending in the upper part is gentler than that in the lower part and thus, it can be prevented that the molten metal 5 energized by increasing the pouring quantity per unit time flows over the upper edge of the bending portion of the spout 12 in the axial direction of the rotary metallic mold 2.
