Abstract:
To obtain a spray-coating method which is used in a printing press and by which a coating liquid layer can be formed more uniformly on a support and to obtain a spray-coating apparatus.
Conditioned air is introduced into a coating spray 22-arranged coating chamber 20 so that the temperature in the coating chamber 20 is kept at 5-15°C. The surface temperature of the support 18 just before coating work is done is kept at 10-25°C by controlling a heater 32 and a cooling fan 33 which are arranged in a plate cylinder 16. As a result, the uniform coating liquid layer can be formed on the support 18.
