Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a binder resin for a toner excellent in positive chargeability as well as fixability, anti-offsetting property and blocking resistance, ensuring a stable amt. of positive charges and causing no environmental pollution.
CONSTITUTION: This binder resin for a positively chargeable toner is a polymer contg. 1-40wt.% acrylic ester and/or methacrylic ester having an ether group and has 40-68°C glass transition temp., 80-180°C softening temp. and ≤20mg KOH/g acid value.
