The spray water supply device for the gas-liquid contact type heat exchanger has a spray water nozzle 14 spraying spray water on the gas-liquid contact type heat exchanger 13, a spray water storage tank 11 collecting and storing dropping the spray water 21, and a spray water pump 12 sending the spray water Q in the spray water storage tank 11 to the spray water nozzle 14. A forced water spraying control means 30 is provided for measuring a stopped time when the spray water pump 12 stops, and forcibly driving the spray water pump 12 for a predetermined certain time to spray the spray water on the gas-liquid contact type heat exchanger 13 when the stopped time exceeds a predetermined certain stop time.
