Abstract:
To prevent adhesion of spraying material to a part of a cylinder block by protecting the part of the cylinder block without using masking material.
An air curtain gun 25a is inserted in a cylinder bore 7a of another bank 3 when a spraying gun 19 is inserted in a cylinder bore 9a of one bank 5 of a cylinder block 1 of a V-engine. A part of spraying material 23 jetting out of a spraying nozzle 21 of the spraying gun 19 is prevented from adhering on the cylinder bore 7a by jetting air form a nozzle part 41 of an air nozzle 35 built in the air curtain gun 25a.
