In the receiver 10 which despreads and demodulates received signals of a plurality of antennas, a despread processing part 18 is constituted so that a received signal of one antenna branch can be inverse-spread in despread timing (delay) acquired from the received signal of the antenna branch or other antenna branch. By such configuration, the reception characteristics are enhanced since the despread and demodulation of a message part whose receiving strength is restored can be executed by despread timing acquired from receiving signals of other antenna branches even when receiving strength of a preamble is weak and the despread timing can not be acquired.
