Abstract:
To provide a spring assembly with load and empty coil springs having stable performance while reducing sliding resistance between the outside face of the inside coil spring and the inside face of the outside coil spring.
The spring assembly 14 absorbs and damps distortional vibration. It comprises a large coil spring 21, a pair of spring seats 22, a small coil spring 23, and a cover member 24. The small coil spring 23 is arranged inside the large coil spring 21, and it has a shorter free length than the large coil spring 21. The cover member 24 which covers the outside face of the coil of the small coil spring 23 is filled in the coil and fixed to one of the pair of spring seats 22.
