PURPOSE: To simplify and miniaturize the structure of a damper and to eliminate the necessity for combining a spring to absorb impact and damper by composing the damper with plural sheets of leaf springs and a viscous elastic body provided between the leaf springs.

CONSTITUTION: A spring body 10 is constituted by providing a viscous elastic body 12 between two sheets of leaf springs 11, 11. The viscous elastic body 12 is completely secured to the leaf spring 11 by means of an adhesive, compression or the like. Such spring body 12 can eliminate the use of a conventional damper by incorporating it into, for instance, a spring or a pendulum type dynamic vibration reducer. This spring body 10 can also be incorporated into a dynamic vibration reducer. The above describes the case of providing a viscous elastic body between two sheets of leaf springs but a spring body can also be constituted in a case of overlapping multiple sheets of leaf springs, as in such case as the impact absorption spring for vehicle use, in which case a viscous elastic body is provided between the respective leaf springs.
