Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spring brake device for parking (emergency) especially used for a railroad vehicle, an industrial machine, and an automobile.
SOLUTION: The spring brake device is provided with a mounting bracket 2, caliper body 4, inner caliper arm 6a and outer caliper arm 6b, cylinders 7, 7 for a caliper brake, and inner brake lining 8a and outer brake lining 8b. A parking brake 9 is integrally built into the caliper body 4. Common use parts such as the inner brake lining 8a and outer brake lining 8b can be used for an ordinary floating type of caliper brake and parking brake 9.
