Abstract:
To use advantages of structural space in a known device from an automobile for racing, similarly in a mass-produced vehicle.
This spring damper unit for a travel mechanism for an automobile comprises a hydraulic type master cylinder device 4 to support a wheel 3 to a car body 2 of the vehicle, and a hydraulic type slave cylinder device 5 provided on the outer side of the travel mechanism in the automobile to be coupled to the master cylinder device 4 through a hydraulic type duct 7. For obtaining advantages of structural space, the slave cylinder device 5 is supported through a support spring 10, and a damper device 36 is provided inside the master cylinder device 4.
