To provide a spring device, capable of corresponding to both a tensile force and a compressive force by a set of disk spring groups and sufficiently reducing a size in a longitudinal direction.

The spring device includes: a lid body 21 having an opening 21b at the tip side of a cylindrical part 20; a first cylindrical member 2 having an end plate 22 disposed at a base end side; a rod member 3 disposed in the first cylindrical member 2 while a first stopper 31 is disposed at one end side of a rod part 30 and a second stopper 32 is disposed at the other end side; a lid body 41 having an opening 41c formed at the tip side, through which the rod part 30 of the rod member 3 is inserted; a second cylindrical member 4 having the first stopper 31 disposed therein to be relatively displaced in the axial direction and disposed to enter, from the opening 21b of the lid body 21 of the first cylindrical member 2, the inside of the first cylindrical member 2; and a spring member 5 including a plurality of disk springs 50 arranged in the rod part 30 of the rod member 3 between the second stopper 32 of the rod member 3 and the lid body 41 of the second cylindrical member 4.
