Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent accidental inflow of fire extinguishing water to a head connection tube by connecting the head connection tube, in which a sprinkler head is connected to the lower end, to a sprinkler pipe via a connection tube and arranging a valve element partitioning the head connection tube from the sprinkler pipe inside of the connection tube. SOLUTION: In case of a fire, a heat sensing part, in a sprinkler head 2 is melted and a valve element of a head main body is dropped, so that antifreeze liquid 12 previously filled in a head connection tube 1 is discharged. Then, a valve element 9 arranged inside a connection tube 3 is dropped because of an action of compressed air inside a sprinkler pipe 15, and the dropped valve element 9 is received and stopped by means of a metal net 7. According to the discharge of the antifreeze liquid 12, compressed air inside the sprinkler pipe 15 is discharged, and a pressure inside the sprinkler pipe 15 is lowered, so that fire extinguishing water is fed from a pressurization source so as to be discharged from the sprinkler head 2, and consequently, the fire can be extinguished.
