Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly connect a synthetic resin sprinkler pipe and a metallic sprinkler head together by forming a joint part, to which a sprinkler synthetic resin pipe can be connected to a synthetic resin pipe and forming an internal thread, into which an external thread in the sprinkler head can be screwed, in a metallic pipe.
SOLUTION: In installation of a sprinkler head mounting member 1 on a supporting member 5 by means of a fixing member 6, the sprinkler head mounting member 1 is fitted into the fixing member 6 so that a flat face part 11 in the sprinkler head mounting member 1 is brought into contact with one wall face of the supporting member 5 so as to be held temporarily. Subsequently, the supporting member 5 is fitted into a notched opening part 61a in the fixing member 6 and a fastening screw 62 is fastened, and the tip of the fastening screw 62 is brought into contact with the supporting member 5. As a result, the sprinkler head mounting member 1 is pulled in the direction in which it is brought into tight contact with the supporting member 5 via the fixing member 6, so that the sprinkler head mounting member 1 is pinchedly put in the supporting member 5 so as to be fixed.
