PURPOSE: To improve the installation workability of sprinkler pipe by fitting a sprinkler pipe along a support of a built-up column unit so as to be positioned within the width of the opposite support in an automatic built-up shelf, which is formed by connecting plural built-up column units in the vertical direction and the lateral direction.

CONSTITUTION: An automatic warehouse built-up shelf is formed by connecting plural built-up column units 1 in the upper and lower (vertical) direction or in the right and left (lateral) direction. Each built-up column unit 1 is formed by stretching a lattice material 3 between a pair of supports, which are stood in the fore and aft direction opposite to each other, in the oblique direction in relation to the fore and aft direction, and horizontally fixing a short bar-like arm 4 to the pair of supports 2 in the fore and aft direction, and stretching a lateral stretch material 5 between both ends of the arm 4. In this case, a sprinkler pipe 7 is fitted between the pair of supports 2 of each assembling support unit 1 in the fore and aft direction along the support 2, and at the time of forming a built-up shelf, adjacent ends of the sprinkler pipes 7 are connected to each other by a joint body 13.
