Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To strengthen the extensors of coxa effectively by a method wherein a mobile type platform is reciprocated within a specified range of moving distance and a pedal rotating in linkage therewith is arranged to apply a resistance load on pedaling thereof below the horizontal position of a pedal arm.
SOLUTION: A mobile type platform repeats a longitudinal reciprocation by a specified distance continuously at a fixed speed by a motive power in a moving distance range of within 1m. At this point, a part 1A for a left leg and a part 1B for a right leg move at a timing of passing each other. A pedaling motion of right and left pedals 2A and 2B is performed to match the movement of the moving platform. In this pedaling motion, the pedals are treaded strongly at a timing matching the backward movement of the moving platform 1 from a front position thereof, that is, the application of a resistance load when pedal arms 3A and 3B stay below a plane. On the contrary, when the moving platform moves forward from a rear position, the pedal is retracted. With such an arrangement, a powerful muscular force training is possible related to kicking.
