Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a pile fabric rich in multicolor feel, capable of expressing complicated design or pattern, thus useful for automotive trim materials with deluxe feel.
CONSTITUTION: A pile fabric is first produced by using spun-dyed blended yarns comprising 15-60wt.% of dispersed dye-dyeable spun-dyed polyester staple fibers, 80-30wt.% of disperse dye-dyeable polyester staple fibers and 5-10wt.% of cationic dye-dyeable polyester staple fibers. Subsequently, this pile fabric is dyed with a disperse dye and cationic dye.
