To provide a spun-like two-ply structural yarn hardly causing a reduction in the initial water repellency caused by a long-term use, repeated laundering, etc., by imparting the excellent water repellency to a two-ply structural yarn (composite twisted yarn) having spun-like appearance and feeling.

The spun-like two-ply structural yarn is obtained by constituting the core part of a filament yarn having a small elongation, and the outer layer part of a filament yarn having an elongation longer than the filament yarn and surrounding the periphery of the core part in an alternate twist state. The filament yarn of the outer layer part is a polyester yarn containing a specified amount of an ester-reactive silicone compound having a specific structure and having 0.61 dl/g intrinsic viscosity.
