Abstract:
To provide a square back shaping apparatus which can shorten time required for shaping a square back.SOLUTION: A square back shaping apparatus comprises: a square back roller 306 which can move in a predetermined direction; a clamper 304 which holds a booklet so that the back is pressurized when a longitudinal direction of the back coincides with a moving direction of the square back roller 306 and the square back roller 306 moves in the predetermined direction; and a control unit which moves the square back roller 306 from a start position to an end position in a state in which the clamper 304 holds the booklet. At least one of the start position and the end position is a position according to length of the back of the booklet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
