Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the above square multiple-tube once-through boiler which has an improved maintainability, burner combustion characteristics, and dryness of steam and is built compact (space saving) as well.
CONSTITUTION: In a square drum 1, groups of vertical water tubes 2A-2E are arranged between upper and lower headers 5 and 6 in columns from the front side to the rear side, and a burner 3 is located at the front side. The drum 1 is accommodated in a main body casing 7 and arranged along a side of the casing 7, and a blower 11 is arranged along the opposite side and located at a position near the rear side. The blower 11 and the burner 3 are connected by a burner duct 14 consisting of an outlet side duct 14A that is almost vertically extended, a suction side duct part 14C and intermediate duct part 14B. A separator 18 that communicates with the upper header 5 via a steam outlet pipe 19 is located at a position nearby the front side along the other side of the main body casing 7.
