PURPOSE: To produce a square shape female screw used for a machine device efficiently at a low cost by arranging a thread member in a spiral shape stickingly inside an outer cylinder and fixing the connection part between the outer cylinder and the thread member by welding or brazing.
CONSTITUTION: An outer cylinder (a cylinder which is the outside part of a square shape female screw) 3 is fixed by outer cylinder fixing jigs 31, 32. When a lead screw 27 is rotated in the arrow mark direction by a motor 28, the thread member 4 is bent by the lead screw 27 and a roller 30 and wound to the lead screw 27. When the rotation is continued, the wound thread member 5 is pressed in or inserted inside the outer cylinder 3. Further, it is rotated and the rotation is stopped at the place where the thread member holder 33 comes out to the outside of the outer cylinder 3 and bolts 34, 35 are removed. Then, the end part of the thread member 4 is raised and the outer cylinder fixing jig 32 is removed and the outer cylinder 3 and the thread 4 are fixed by welding. Thereby, the square shape female screw used for a machine device can be produced efficiently at a low cost.
