Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly maintain an oil film thickness of a squeeze film in a squeeze film damper bearing device, to enhance vibration control effect.SOLUTION: On an outer periphery of both end parts in an axis direction of an outer race 46 of a squeeze film damper bearing device, provided is a pair of annular projections 46d projecting toward an inner periphery of a bearing holding member 44. When a radial load acting on rotational shafts 15, 41 is less than a predetermined value, an apical surface of the annular projection is kept in a non-contact state to the inner periphery of the bearing holding member, while when the radial load acting on the rotational shafts is more than the predetermined value, the apical surface of the annular projection contacts with the inner periphery of the bearing holding member. Also, besides input of a large load, the annular projection does not contact with the inner periphery of the bearing holding member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
