To simplify the structure of a container and improve efficiency in assembling work by reducing the number of parts composing the container.
The squeeze type container comprises an outer layer 1 which has an opening 1c on the bottom wall of the container and forms the outline of the container, a bag-like inner layer 2 which is laminated peelably on the interior of the outer layer 1 and enables the volume reduction of the container, and a base cup 3 which has an fresh air leading-in inlet 3b and is fitted on the lower part of the outer layer 1 to hold it to ensure a self-standing position of the container. By squeezing the container trunk, fresh air is lead in between the inner and outer layers 1, 2 through the fresh air leading-in inlet 3b of the base cup 3 and the opening 1c of the outer layer 1, and a content is discharged through a spout communicating with the inside of the inner layer 2. The container also includes a sealing part 4a for maintaining airtightness, and a check valve 4b which is arranged on the fresh air leading-in inlet 3b of the base cup 3 and allows fresh air to only flow into the container from the outside of the cup 3.
