Title:
SQUIRREL-CAGE INDUCTION MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3887472
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a net high frequency current from being generated between ends of an axis, and prevent a current damaging a bearing from penetrating it, by connecting one half of a coil group of each phase with a supply AC current, at one end of a stator, and connecting the other half with the supply AC current, at the other end of the stator.
SOLUTION: One half of a coil group of each phase, i.e., a 3A part, is connected with a supply AC current, at the N end of a stator. The other half, i.e., a 3B part, is connected at the opposite side D end of the stator. The one- half of the coil group of phase is inverted in the longitudinal direction. As compared with normal winding, the connection is so performed that the direction of a basic frequency trench is the same as it is. Induction effect of a high frequency common mode zero current on an axis is canceled, and the sum of the basic frequency current and the high frequency current becomes zero. The current distribution is as symmetric as possible in the longitudinal direction, and a net current is not generated. Thereby generation of a current penetrating a bearing can be prevented.
