Abstract:
To provide a squirrel-cage rotor capable of depressing breakage of a holding member due to stress while depressing breakage and deformation of an end ring concentration.SOLUTION: A squirrel-cage rotor includes: a rotor core, a plurality of rotor bars which are arranged in the circumferential direction of the rotor core and respectively penetrate the rotor core to extend in the axial direction, a pair of end rings which are arranged at both ends of the rotor core in an axial direction and electrically connected with the plurality of rotor bars, and holding rings which are arranged concentrically at the circumference of the end ring and support the outer peripheral surface of the end ring. A radial position of a contact part of the end ring and the holding ring is fixed along the axial direction and the axial tip side of the end ring is not covered with the holding ring to be exposed outside.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
