To provide a new polyolefin composition produced by compounding a polyolefin with an organic phosphite and a specific compound and giving a molded polyolefin article having high stability in the case of continuously contacting with an extractive medium.
This polyolefin contains (A) a polyolefin continuously contacting with an extractive medium, (B) a compound selected from organic phosphite and phosphonite and (C) (i) a compound of the formula I ((n) is 1 or 3; R1 is a 1-18C alkyl, phenyl, etc.; R2 is H, a 1-18C alkyl, etc.; R3 is H or methyl; R4 is H, a 1-4C alkyl, etc., when (n) is 1 and R4 is a group of the formula II, III, etc., when (n) is 3), etc., (ii) a sterically hindered amine having a molecular weight of ≥500 and expressed by the formula IV (G is H or methyl; G1 and G2 are each G or together form =O) or (iii) a combination of the component ii with a phenolic antioxidant. The component B is preferably tris(2,4-di-t- butylphenyl)phosphite, etc., and the component C is preferably the component (iii).
