Abstract:

To obtain the subject coating composition capable of improving yellowing resistance, comprising a stabilized polyisocyanate.

This (cyclo)aliphatic polyisocyanate comprises 5-25wt.% of blocked or unblocked isocyanate group in a form in which at least 95wt.% of the isocyanate group is blocked with a blocking agent such as butanone oxime and a stabilizer which is an amine of formula I and contains an amine of formula I not having a hydrazine structure, optionally a hydrazide of formula II and an antioxidant such as 2,6-di-t-butyl-4-methlphenol except the amine and hydrazide. The compound is used as a binder for an organic polyhydroxyl compound in a lacquer for baking a one component type polyurethane to give a one-component type polyurethane coating composition.
