Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide the title compsn. excellent in colorability and weatherability by compounding a chlorinated resin with a specific phosphorus- contg. metal salt and a metal perchlorate. CONSTITUTION:The title compsn. is prepd. by compounding a chlorinated resin (e.g. a polyvinyl chloride resin) with at least one phosphorus-contg. metal salt of formula I or II (wherein R1 and R3 are each 1-30C alkyl, aryl, aralkyl. or alkaryl; R2 is H or -OR1; M1 is an alkaline earth metal, Zn, or Al; a is 2 or 3 and b is 0 or 1, a+b being a valence of the metal; and if c=0, M2 is an alkaline earth metal or Zn, and if c=1, M2 is Al) and at least one metal perchlorate, e.g. magnesium perchlorate.
