To provide a stabilized monomer composition of a thiophene derivative.
A stabilized monomer composition comprises at least 50 wt.%, based on the total weight of the stabilized monomer composition, of a thiophene derivative monomer having general formula (I) (wherein R1 and R2 stand, independently of one another, for hydrogen, for an optionally substituted 1-20C alkyl group or 1-20C oxyalkyl group, optionally interrupted by 1 to 5 oxygen atoms and/or sulfur atoms, or jointly for an optionally substituted 1-20C dioxyalkylene group or 6-20C dioxyarylene group). There are provided a method for manufacturing a capacitor using the monomer composition, a capacitor obtained by the method, the use of the stabilized monomer composition, and the use of a stabilizer.
