Title:
STABILIZER CONTROL DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2012116262
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To prevent wasteful consumption of power by stopping an actuator when torque required for driving the actuator becomes excessive.

Torque required for the rotation of an electric motor 25 is calculated by a current control permit determination section 40 from the lateral acceleration of a vehicle body (roll amount), and a rotation position (motor actual position) of the electric motor 25 while it is determined whether or not the required torque exceeds the maximum torque of the motor. When it is determined that the electric motor 25 is rotatable by the current control permit determination section 40, an instruction current is output from a motor control section 37 to a current control section 38. When it is determined that the electric motor 25 is not rotated, an output of the instruction current is stopped, and rigidity is secured by a holding force of a stabilizer 1. Thereby, it is avoided that power is wastefully consumed, and energy efficiency is improved.
