To provide a stabilizer device to be switched by a small driving force or a small operating force by realizing transmission without a looseness when connecting a clutch.

This stabilizer device is provided with a torsion bar having two bar parts, a clutch having a first and a second clutch elements for connecting or separating ends of the adjacent bars into a closed shape, and an operating device for separating the clutches, while allowing the relative torsion when separating the clutches. Shape closing elements 32-35 of the first and the second clutch elements 25 and 39 form engaging elements 36 and 37 pivotally fitted along the clutch elements, and the engaging elements are supported freely to move independently of each other to separate the clutch 13, and formed to be displaced by an operating device 40 independently of each other.
