Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a stabilizer mixture suitable for stabilizing a composition comprising an electrometer or an adhesive resin by incorporating a mercaptomethylphenol of a specified molecular structure, a specified epoxidized fatty acid or its alkyl ester in a specified ratio.
CONSTITUTION: The stabilizer mixture comprises a component (a) and a component (b) in a weight ratio of 99:1-1:10. The component (a) is a mercaptomethylphenol of the formula [wherein n is 0 or 1; R1 and R2 separately represent a 1-12C alkyl or the formula of -CH2SR3 (where R3 represents a 6-18C alkyl phenyl or benzyl); R4 independently represents hydrogen atom or methyl and when bonded to the same ring, does not represents methyl simultaneously]. The component (b) is selected from among 3-22C epoxidized fatty acids and their alkyl esters of 1C-18C. The stabilizer mixture in an amount of 0.01-10 wt.% of an elastomer, an adhesive resin, or their mixture is used.
