Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable a vehicle to utilize spring tension of all the elastic parts (torshion bar and spring member).
CONSTITUTION: A connecting rod 13 is interposed between a torsion bar 12 and a lower arm 4 for a suspension device. A round bar 17 of the connecting rod 13, in a condition removed from a car body is formed of spring material into a curved bar shape. When the torsion bar 12 is twisted, regardless of its direction, spring tension of the connecting rod 13 is applied to act. Consequently, when the car body is tilted, spring tension of all the elastic parts can be utilized.
