To provide a method and an apparatus permitting installation of a perforated pipe in the layer of waste without soil removal, eliminating the need of carrying out harmful substances in waste onto the ground and allowing recovery and diversion of steel pipes having been inserted into the ground.
The apparatus is composed of a steel pipe, a lid and a perforated pipe. The steel pipe has a hollow body provided with helical blades around it. The lid comprises a lid plate closing the tip of the hollow steel pipe, an engaging cylinder fixed to the lid and a pipe-fixing cylinder. The apparatus is constructed so that, while the rotation of the steel pipe is transmitted to the lid, the motion of the steel pipe in the direction of the central axis is not transmitted to the lid. The apparatus is employed to stabilize the layer of waste by installing the perforated pipe within the steel pipe into waste.
