Abstract:
To provide aqueous inoculant compositions, and to provide methods for enhancing the survival and/or stability of microbial spores in an inoculant composition.SOLUTION: Provided is an aqueous inoculant composition, comprising: Penicillium spores comprising about 0.1 to about 50% (by weight) of the inoculant composition; one or more protectants comprising about 0.5 to about 10% (by weight) of the composition; one or more dispersants comprising about 0.1 to about 10% (by weight) of the composition; one or more aqueous additives comprising about 0.01 to about 5% (by weight) of the composition; and a non-aqueous liquid carrier comprising about 75 to about 95% (by weight) of the inoculant composition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
