Title:
STABLE LENS HOLDING MECHANISM OF RIMLESS SPECTACLES
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003021808
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a stable lens holding mechanism of rimless spectacles which is extremely stable in the holding state of lenses and can simplify its structure.

This mechanism includes at least a pair of right and left lenses 3 which are pierced with fastening holes 31 and 31 at the points to be inserted with stinging pins 11 of a bridge 1 and stinging pins 21 of endpieces 2 and insertion tubes 41 which have stopper nodes 41a on the outer periphery and pin holes 41b at the axial centers. The mechanism includes at least buffer pieces 4 of a curving shape which are formed by integral molding with edge pads 42 abuttable on the outer edges of the lenses in the areas proximate to the fastening holes 31 in the position apart by a specified distance from the insertion tubes 41. The edge pads 42 abut on the outer edges of the lenses in the state that the insertion tubes 41 of the buffer pieces 4 are penetrated into the fastening holes 31 of the lenses 3 and on the other hand, the stinging pins 11 of the bridge 1 or the stinging pins 21 of the endpieces 2 are inserted into the pin holes 41b of the insertion tubes 41 of the buffer pieces 4, by which a spectacle front frame F is formed.
