Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminate type diffractive optical element in which a chromatic aberration caused by diffraction is reduced while imparting a strong power to a laminate type diffractive optical element.SOLUTION: A laminate type diffractive optical element is configured by laminating a plurality of diffraction gratings. In the laminate type diffractive optical element, individual lattice surfaces 11 and 12 of a plurality of diffraction gratings have a blazed structure in mutually different shapes according to mutually different specific wavelengths. Mutually different translucent mediums 41, 42, and 43 are arranged on the light incident side and the light emission side of each of the lattice surfaces. Each of the translucent mediums has dispersion characteristics in which the refractive index with respect to the specific wavelength of the translucent medium arranged on the light incident side and the light emission side of the lattice surface corresponding to a specific wavelength is mutually different and the refractive index with respect to the specific wavelength of the translucent medium arranged on the light incident side and the light emission side of a lattice surface other than the lattice surface corresponding to the specific wavelength is mutually equal.
