To provide a stacker crane for an automated warehouse having a wire mounting structure capable of adjusting the extension of an elevating wire.

A through hole 30 for storing one end 31 of an elevating wire 22 in a hoisting drum 24 is bored on the peripheral surface 29 of the hoisting drum 24. The elevating wire is pressed against the peripheral surface of the hoisting drum to be fixed in the vicinity of the through hole by a fixing member 34 which is formed of three fixing plates 35 and a pair of bolts 36 provided to each fixing plate. When the elevating wire extends, the end portion of the elevating wire is inserted a lot in the hoisting drum, thereby the extension of the elevating wire can be adjusted without replacing or cutting.
