Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obviously sort paper sheets at a desired part without staining them by marking and the like, and make a sorted state recognizable at a glance from an operator side.
CONSTITUTION: A device is provided with a conveying means 2 for conveying a paper sheet 101 in a single sheet state, a stack unit 3 for stacking in a regular position the paper sheet 101 conveyed by the conveying means 2, and a paper sheet sorting and moving mechanism 4 for moving the paper sheet 101 before the stack unit 3 to a position different from the regular position. By moving the paper sheet 101 before the stack unit 3 to the position different from the regular position, the paper sheet 101 can be sorted without staining by a mark and the like. When a bar code is verified to be found defective in the paper sheet 101 wherein the bar code is printed, this paper sheet 101 is moved to the position different from the regular position or even excluded without being stacked by means of the paper sheet sorting and moving mechanism 4.
