To provide a stacking device for a sheet processing machine, particularly, a sheet printer.

This stacking device can move between a first loading position 02 and a second loading position 03, and also has a carrier for a pallet. The pallet receives a sheet loaded in the first loading position 02 and the second loading position 03. The stacking device in this invention has transport units 14, 16 and 18. The transport units transport the pallets 09 and 21 to a single pallet stack 11 from the respective loading positions 02 and 03, for loading the pallets 12 and 19 on the pallet stack 11.
