Abstract:
To store heavy loads in a limited space of a maintenance yard for railroad vehicles.
A stacking stocker 100 for railroad vehicles has a warehousing conveyor 11, a delivery conveyor 12, and a plurality of transport conveyors 20. Platforms 16 for storing are provided corresponding to the positions of the transport conveyors. The transport conveyors are arranged in line between the warehousing conveyor and delivery conveyor. Supporting arms 40 which can be opened and closed are provided on the side faces in their over-part of the platforms for storing. A lifter 17 movable up and down is installed each in the middle between the transport conveyors.
